CCCPAA sells up to 200 quality used cars, trucks, sports utility vehicles, minivans, and RV's every first and third Saturday of the month. Smog certified vehicles obtained through banks, non-profit organizations, city accounts, consignors, credit unions and leasing companies, are available for public inspection the Friday before the auction and on auction Saturday (click here to view our current preview hours). All auctions begin at 10:00 AM.
CCCPAA doesn't brag about being the biggest public auction, but instead takes pride in
- Excellent customer service with an extra personal touch not offered by larger entities
- Refusing to sell junk—all vehicles are smog certified and without salvage titles
- Offering a 24 hour Guarantee on major vehicle components—an offer not made by any other auction
- Honest auto sales—we don't advertise deceitfully or make false promises.
First-time attendees are educated about the auction procedures by friendly staff and a specially designed handout. Buyers are guided through the entire purchase process from financial assistance, vehicle preview, their winning bid, and finally to their drive off the lot.
CCCPAA is more than an auction, it's an event. Families are encouraged to attend. Children are warmly received and enjoy the excitement of the auctioneers and ringmen. The auction audience is also seated comfortably under two "big top" tents. To kids, and even some adults, it's a circus-like fun.
While it tries to maintain an entertaining atmosphere, CCCPAA is also very serious about helping others; helping the public save thousands of dollars on reliable used vehicles and also helping the community. Auction goers have the opportunity to win free cars and cash while participating in community services such as CCCPAA's Annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive & Auto Auction and Holiday Toys For Tots & Auto Auction in December.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the auction. Maybe you'll just have fun; maybe you'll buy a great affordable car! Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction hopes to help you do both.
