Some Exclusions

Routine maintenance items such as: oil, coolant, fluids, refrigerant and others.

Items that occasionally need replacement such as: battery and cables, lights and bulbs, tires, filters, hoses and lines, drive belts, brake pads, brake drums, brake shoes, exhaust system, shock absorbers, and strut insert cartridges.

Apperance concerns and exterior items such as: bright metal, vinyl, wheel covers, glass, ornaments, and paint.

Interior items such as: carpet, upholstery, buttons, door and window handles.

Includes Roadside Assistance*

Roadside Assistance provides towing and other emergency needs. If you have a breakdown or need assistance, simply call the toll-free 800 number and a dedicated staff member is there to help you 24 hours a day.

Towing
In the event of a breakdown in the US or Canada not caused by an accident, towing will be provided to you. No matter where, no matter the time of day. Just call.

Gasoline and Fluids
An emergency supply of gasoline, oil, cooling fluid, & water will be delivered to you when an immediate need arises.

Flat Tire Assistance
Removal and replacement of a flat tire with your spare.

Lock-Out
The service will provide for a commercial locksmith to gain entry to your vehicle if the keys are locked in the vehicle.

Battery Jumpstart
If battery failure occurs, a jumpstart will be delivered to you when in immediate need.

Substitute Transportation
For qualified repairs when your vehicle is inoperable and undergoing repairs.

Trip Interruption

Powertrain Coverage

ENGINE
All internal lubricated parts: bearings, pistons, piston pins and rings, valves, valve springs, valve spring retainers and rocker arms; timing chain or timing belt and tensioners, and rocker arms. Timing gear, oil pump, valve guides, followers, valve seats, rocker shafts, push rods, valve lifters, connecting rods, crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft, cam bearings and rocker bushings. Other parts: Water pump, engine mounts, engine cushions, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, front cover, harmonic balancers, flywheel (flexplate), flywheel ring gear, pulleys and eccentric shaft; seals and gaskets. Note: Engine block, cylinder head(s), cylinder sleeves, oil pan and valve covers only if the damage results from the failure of an internal lubricated part. Turbo/Supercharger: All internal lubricated parts.contained within the turbo/supercharger housing, plus the charger housing only if the damage results from the failure of an internal lubricated part.

TRANSMISSION (AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL)
All internal lubricated parts; torque converter, pump, drums, reaction carrier, shafts, hubs, gears, shift rails and forks, internal linkage, and bearings. Transmission mounts, vacuum modulator; seals and gaskets. The transmission case, housing and oil pan, only if the damage results from the failure of an internal lubricated part.

TRANSFER CASE
All internal lubricated parts, plus the transfer case housing only if the damage results from the failure of an internal lubricated part.

DRIVE AXLE ASSEMBLY (FRONT, REAR, 4WD OR AWD)
All internal lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing; hub, axle and non-serviceable bearings, drive gears and clutches. Constant velocity joints, universal joints, axle shafts, drive shafts; seals and gaskets. The axle or transaxle housing, only if the damage results from the failure of an internal lubricated part.

FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING

FRONT SUSPENSION
Struts; upper and lower control arms and shafts and bushings; upper and lower ball joints; stabilizer shaft; linkage and bushings; spindles and supports; wheel bearings.

STEERING
All internal lubricated parts; steering gear box, rack and pinion and all internal parts; power cylinder assembly, power steering pump, main and intermediate steering shafts and couplings; tie rods and tie rod ends; linkage; idler arm; pitman arm. Electric steering motor, electric cylinder assembly, rack and pinion with electric power assist.

FUEL SYSTEM
Fuel pump, fuel injection pump, fuel injectors, fuel rail, metal fuel delivery lines, nozzles and vacuum pump and vacuum assist booster.

BRAKES
Master cylinder; vacuum and hydraulic power brake booster, wheel cylinders; hydraulic lines and fittings; disc calipers.

ELECTRICAL
Alternator, voltage regulator, voltage sensor, distributor, starter motor, starter drive and solenoid; electronic ignition module, wiring harnesses, manually operated switches, wiper motor, power window motor, sunroof motor.

ELECTRONIC HIGH TECH COMPONENTS

Service Contract

We offer a variety of service contracts from AUL. Warranty protection is available for most vehicles, regardless of their year. All plans cover both parts and labor. Browse the options below.

Towing
If your covered vehicle breaks down, we won’t leave you stranded. We’ll arrange to have your car, truck or SUV towed to the nearest qualified repair facility within a 150-mile radius.
This service is
available 24/7.

Flat Tire Change
Don’t risk changing a
flat yourself—call us. We’ll send a qualified
pro to put a spare on your covered vehicle.
If your spare won’t work, we’ll provide you with transportation to the nearest tire store for repairs.

Emergency Fuel
Delivery Service
When it comes to emergency fuel, we deliver. Any time you run out of fuel, we’ll arrange for a service
provider to deliver two (2) gallons of fuel to your covered vehicle. You are responsible for the cost of the fuel at the time of delivery.

Battery Jump Service
Few things are more frustrating than a
dead battery. If your covered vehicle won’t crank, we’ll arrange for a service provider to assist you and get your vehicle moving again.

Key Lockout Service
It’s embarrassing. It’s inconvenient. It’s easily solved with our Key
Lockout Service. Just call us any time your keys are lost, broken
or locked inside your covered vehicle. We’ll
send a service provider and pay up to $100 per occurrence to cover the cost of the locksmith service, excluding the cost of replacement keys. You are responsible for replacement keys.

Powertrain

Our Basic Coverage Plan

Engine Group
All internally lubricated parts.Crankshaft and bearings,oil pump, fuel pump, internal timing gears or chain/belt, camshaft, camshaft bearings, valve lifters, rocker arm assemblies and push rods, valve
guides, pistons and rings, wrist pins, connecting rods, exhaust manifold, and distributor drive gear. The engine block and cylinder heads are covered if damage is caused by failure
of an internally lubricated part.

Engine (Rotary)
All of the listed parts under Engine Group plus rotors, rotor seals, rotor chamber, eccentric shaft and bearings. Turbocharger/ Supercharger
Factory–installed turbocharger or supercharger, including housing and all
internal parts.

Transmission, Transaxle and Transfer Case
(4x4 / AWD) All internally lubricated parts contained in the housings – and torque converter. Case housings are covered if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

Drive Axle Group (Front or Rear)
Drive axle housing including pinion bearings, side carrier bearings, ring and pinion gears, carrier assembly, thrust washers, axles, axle bearings, constant velocity joints, internal transaxle seal, and drive axle housing, if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

Seals and Gaskets
Seals and gaskets are covered when replaced in conjunction with a covered failure, or if the “Seals and Gaskets Coverage” option has been selected and the covered vehicle has less than 125,000 miles at contract purchase date, failed seals and gaskets for covered components will be replaced. Minor loss of fluid or seepage is considered normal and is not considered
a failure.

Classic

Power Steering Group
Steering gear box, pump assembly, rack and pinion,
control valves, bearings and shafts.

Basic Electrical Group
Alternator/generator, starter motor, front and rear wiper motors.

Rental Car/Substitute
Transportation
We know you need a vehicle. That’s why we’ll reimburse you up to $30 a day ($150 maximum) for a rental car any time your covered vehicle is in a repair facility overnight due to a failure of any covered part. Coverage

does not apply to time waiting for parts, services or other delays beyond our control or that of the repair facility. An additional $90 of rental coverage applies in the event of a parts delay when an internal repair or replacement is performed on a major

component (Engine Group, Transmission Group, Drive Axle Group). Compensation ends the day repairs
are completed and you are notified that your car, truck or SUV is ready. Reimbursement is valid only for rental from a licensed car rental agency.

Vintage

Includes Powertrain and Classic Coverage

Air-Conditioning Group
Compressor, condenser, evaporator,
expansion valve, receiver drier, blower motor, and hot
water valve.

Electrical Group
Voltage regulator, distributor, solenoids, manually operated switches, electronic level control compressor including its sensor and limiter valve, electronic fuel

injection sensors and injectors, electronic ignition module, power window motors, rear window heating elements, power mirror motors, power seat motors, and power door lock actuators.

Estate

Includes Powertrain, Classic, and Vintage Coverage

Brake Group
Master cylinder, power brake cylinder, vacuum assist booster, hydro boost, disc brake caliper, wheel cylinders, compensating valve, metal brake hydraulic lines and fittings. The following ABS Components are covered: Hydraulic control unit, electronic control processor, wheel speed sensors, hydraulic pump/ motor assembly, pressure modulator valve, isolation dump valve, and accumulator.

Front/Rear Suspension
Group
Upper and lower control arms, control arm shafts and bearings or bushings, upper and lower ball joints, radius arm and bushings, torsion bars and mounts or bushings, stabilizer bars, links and bushings, struts, strut bearing plates, spindle and spindle support, wheel bearings, variable dampening suspension, compressor, control module, actuator, solenoid, height sensor, and mode selector switch.

Cooling Group
Engine cooling fan and motor,fan clutch, serpentine belt tensioner, radiator, heater core, water pump, and thermostat.

Seals and Gaskets
This coverage option is included for covered components on vehicles with less than 125,000 miles at contract purchase date. Minor loss of fluid or seepage is considered normal and is not considered
a failure.

Reserve

The Most Comprehensive Coverage Plan

AUL Reserve includes Powertrain, Classic, Vintage and Estate coverage, plus virtually all other manufacturer installed and approved components not
stated in the short list of exclusions.

Optional

Enhanced Electrical Package

Coverage is provided for the following factory installed devices if the surcharge has been paid and the option has been marked on your Declaration Page— global positioning system (GPS), electronic control modules, infrared systems, cruise control servo, proximity pass key and sensor, power antenna motor, power trunk or tailgate actuator motor. This option is only available with a coverage level of Vintage or Estate.
